Egg painting for easter

Maeva paints an egg to celebrate Easter at Uncle Simon's flat in Paihia.
She like helping me boil the eggs and then proceeds to peel the egg methodically...and eating the whole egg in 3 bites and lots of messy washing afterwards...

There you go...much more fun than plain ol' chocolate teeth rotting stuff(-:

we woke up this morning and lots of balloons passed over our house..Maeva's favourite one is the turtle
I like to feed the ducks and shooing them away at the same time, it is so much fun!!
This is our pumpkin growing next to Maeva's feijoa tree..there are four big pumpkins growing at once...
This is actually a skirt but if you pull it up like this, it looks like a dress...or so my mommie says

This Easter, we drove up to the Bay of Islands with Nico in our car.
Maeva is smitten with Nico, she loves hanging around him and calling out "Niiicco!!!"
She even runs to Nico when her papa is standing next to him!!
Anyhow, heres some photos of the weekend, where Gui and Nico drove to the top of the North Island and everywhere else, while Maeva and I hung out at the beach and did lots of window shopping!!!
Gui is thrilled to have his childhood friend here, and is doing all the touristy stuff he's wanted to do, with his best mate.
We stayed at Nico's flat in Paris when we left Marseille for NZ last August and we enjoyed being in the heart of the city..i have pics somewhere about that time here,..anyhow, we just saw him off this arvo as he is heading south to queenstown...gui's gonna miss his mate and maeva gonna miss her Niiicccoooo...
